The biggest selling point to me (and a sweet feature) of the AO rack is the ability to configure it many different ways to suit your needs for a particular trip.

FOR SURE!!!!

You are right about the paint too...but I am still glad it came in black so i dont have to paint the whole thing, I already have my Krylon "touch up" kit ready to fix any blemishes ;p

was yours dinged, chipped and scratched?

I think I will use the SR hatch a lot..A large part of my photography is done from my vehicle and it will be great to still have full access to the roof.. Plus, now I have a nice sturdy and flat platform to work on up there ! :D :D :D

very cool! my long term brainstorm for my rig is to swap out a shell from an OZ truck with the "Poverty Pack" as they call it. it has no sunroof but has the much more useful ambulance doors in the back! much easier to get into a lifted truck with this feater!

I will post a pic or two with it on my 100 as soon as I get it on !

Cool

Mine came with a few pretty good scratches and chips, but it was still better than I expected, especially considering the LONG journey these racks take to get here to the U.S. :D

its tight but they dont scrape at all

I had to use a grinder to smooth all the mounts where the rubber door gasket contacted the bracket. After a while the rubber starts getting frayed and nicked.

The flexibility of the rack's mounting system is amazing. I used some HD 2" aluminum bar stock to attach Yakima bars inside the rack. This will allow me to safely transport 2 or 3 bikes to Moab.

You can please some of the people most of the time, just not most of the people all the time.

When it was gray, everyone wanted black, not they want gray again.

I think I should make them Pink to fit the LX450 market. :D

Can you do pink? I'll take one in pink.
