oooooooooo lovely

FYI I got my first oil change today from toyota since I got the plates put on. No complaints from anyone, so I assume they were able to access everything without any issues.

Very nice! We put Rasta plates on an FJ Cruiser and it all went on great, Plus they're strong.

Mini-hijack, we're gonna shoot out an Urban Runner vs a 200 series in the Jan/Feb issue. Just cuz.

Well we have not seen any 200 series really 'featured' in the mag yet.....:p

Would be cool to do a TT FJC, new TE 4Runner and a 200.

Anyway back to topic.

Here are pics of my install. I did it at night with 2000watts of lights, so pardon the cell phone pics :wrench::hillbilly:

I cut the plastic side panels to fit around the skid plate. I didn't want to simply discard them.

Thanks DTT and Chimyz for your help!

Where'd you buy those low profile wheel chocs?

Mine? Wally World. I've seen them at a lot of places though, like PepBoys.

Hopefully I'm not too late to the ballgame. Has anyone heard anything about Rasta lately? Are the skid plates still available? Although there is a website still active, it does state that Rasta4x4USA is no longer open. I get a non-working-number message when I call and am not sure emails are getting through. The underside took a pretty good beating at the Lone Star Land Cruiser Round Up in Katemcy earlier this year so it is definitely time to upgrade the skid plates. Thanks...

Rasta skid plates are still available but will ship from overseas which will make them $$$.

Asfir makes similar skidplates and are available now through Sierra Expeditions

You must call them as it is not on their site.

Thanks. They look like they might just do the job, and if they are available, that would be even better. It looks like they are the same thinckness as the Rasta plates...design is slightly different. I'll reach out to Sierra Expeditions this week.

Do either of these options exist ? This is what happens when you peruse old threads
