Sweet ride I wish I had the cash outlay you have, although I do have the same mind set. I did finance my 80, the first vehivle I had financed in seven years, but I paid it off in a week. I hate to use credit if I don't have to and modding my truck is not a have to situation. I will have front and rear bumpers within a year I hope, looking into building them.

I agree with the over kill on the rear bumper. I'd get a TJM, atleast that's my plan. Not the strongest of the bunch but best looking IMO.

Yes, i am all about overkill! The stronger the better! I also believe in if you buy it right the first time, you only need to buy it once. I also really like the TJM/Kaymar bumpers but i have heard they rattle quite a bit. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Thanks
Kevin

TJM NO RATTLE HERE! :D

And I beat the piss out of it at CMCC05. :grinpimp:

Your rig's coming along nicely.

With either the 4x4labs or the slee rear bumper, you can't go wrong. I also am from the school of "do it once, do it right" I hate cheaping out and having to replace something. It used to piss me off because my dad would cheap out sometimes and have to replace it repeatedly...

Boston - La Jolla - just up the road in south OC. Kaymar bumper here. Had some rattle of the muffler against the side brace but that disappeared after Millers trail. No issues with the bumper at all. Have the tire carrier on it and some day will get the jerry can carrier for the DS. If you are towing, it's the only choice out there. Cdan fab'ed up a tow hitch on Slee's rear bumper that looks very good, but for out of the box towing capability, Kaymar is it.

Your mods are coming along nicely and as others have said - quickly! Looking good!

Hey Brent

Any chance i could check out that bumper sometime? I dont mind driving up. I would like to see both the TJM and the Kaymar in person and check them out for real (instead of in a catalog). Let me know, i would be willing to drive a bit

Thanks

Ditto That!

I am waiting to see some pics of Christos receiver design once it is done and installed on a rig all complete.
