Thanks for the quick responce! Ok, so louder than a traditional A/T. Would the noise level cause you to hesitate taking a road trip with these tires?

I've had these in 295's for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier. They perform well in all conditions and are wearing great. I'm very happy with this purchase plus they look great. :bounce:

Yup, I have the same ones.

Louder than an A/T, quieter than a traditional M/T. More like an X/T. IMO the tread pattern is more like an X/T, too.

In the beginning, you won't hear the tires much at all. But, as they get worn in, you'll hear them more and more. You can also feel the usual M/T lugs when you come to a stop. As with all M/Ts, they cause more windage and going from a set of A/Ts, this is very noticeable. The vehicle has to work harder so mileage will suffer a little.

Noise and ride...

I have the same Hancooks but 325/60 on 18" wheels. Wish I could get it for 150. Just ordered a spare tire and wheel and the tire itself was 299.
At any rate, I have been very happy with the tire. I find the noise to be more than tolerable and much quieter than I expected. My ride is a little harsh but one must keep in mind the height of the sidewall and presence of a lift kit. I also noticed pretty good snow traction for such a wide tire.
