thanks. not much details yet but the plan is to be able to take it along on multi day trips for scouting and such or just to add more to the exploring experience.
 
it doesnt pack that well. the top half of the cage comes apart and the wing probably fills up say a small garbage bag. its advertised as 51 pounds but is sure feels heavier.

on the positive side, it has the most common engine and i love the full stainless construction. it also takes much less room than a full time quad which was the original plan.

I was thinking along the same lines for the area we like to frequent down by Tumbler Ridge, that or one of those small helicopters with a little camera, but it would be pretty cool to do a quick fly over to see if it's even worth putting in effort to get trucks through the first obstical.

Not to mention figuring out the feasibility of building the route across the pass into the next drainage. If you had space to launch the damned thing.

those are fine examples/excuses to have one. i think all sorts of doors will open and yes it has to be fun. LOL

went out for my first training this weekend. launched of a 300 fool ridge on saturday and did a 2500 foot flight today.
