Well, some of you may remember me from the christmas tree run a year ago. Most probably remember me as the guy who rolled his Land Cruiser. (The thread got almost 10,000 views.)

Well, I've saved up, and just bought another cruiser. I'll try to keep all four on the ground!

Its already got an ARB non winch, 33" MTRs, Kaymar rear bumper with custom protection on rear, and the interior has lots of eletrical goodies. The PO took great care of her, almost ALL maintenance done in the last 1000 miles. Looking forward to wheeling with everyone again!

Factory lockers?

Mileage?

What are all of the electrical goodies you speak of?

Very cool, looking forward to seeing it in person. Hopefully we can do another run in the future.

Good looking rig.

Jack

Nice to see you back up and running!
X2 on the questions that Jack posted, and what are your plans for mods?
SOOOOO, no barrel rolling this time young jedi?:D

Love those rigs!

Jason: Glad to see you back in LC land:). We were talking about you at this year's Christmas Tree Run. Were your ears ringing? Oooo and I heard Boca is off limits now (?)...that's good for you too !:D

I'm planning on 35s this summer, but for now I'm swapping the current MTRs, which are pretty worn, to the Mastercraft Courser MT's that I got the day I rolled the cruiser. They are studdable too. The PO did a crapload of maintenance. He also added a nice headunit, and did some great speaker mods, including a subwoofer that looks so good it could be stock! He also hard wired in a cellphone / mp3 player charger.

I still need to install the CDL switch and do the 7 pin mod. He rebuilt the locker motors and they engage almost instantly. Its a big improvement compared to my last LC.

I am really torn on whether I am going to go the rock crawling route vs. the expedition route. I'm thinking a good mix of both.

I haven't heard anything about Boca closing? They did close off the dam a while ago (terrorist threat to Reno) but other than that I don't think its closed. I personally won't be taking the LC there if thats what you mean!

I would like to see pics of the subwoofer.

Good to hear on the lockers. Gotta get on the CDL/7pin mod. I use the CDL like a third locker.

Just realize that 35's are spendy. My 4.88's and 35's are sitting in the garage. Gears are $800+ for parts, plus install ($500+) and $1k for the tires. Just waiting on Slee's 4" springs to complete thier boat ride. I am going to get started in January on mine.

Good luck on the new one. Looks like you have a great platform.

Yeah...that's what it was: They closed the dam because of Homeland Security's thought it could be used to float Reno away. Anyway I remember somebody burying an 80 up to the frame rails in the mud at Boca a year or two ago. I thought it was you and your pre-rolled 80...but I could be mistaken.

Ha.. yeah, that was me. Never have had good luck with Boca. That bridge/damn is open again nowadays btw.
