Looking for some new leafs for the hj60. maybe 2" of lift to compensate for a winch and tyre carrier weight later on. Anyone had any good luck with trail gear stuff? Any other local to B.C. options i should check out? ome from ebi or radd sounds expensive

Not sure if Trail gear would have 2 in lifts for 60 series? I am not sure what the cheap solution is for your cause, but if you can't find any used 2in sets, just look at all your new options (taking note of price) and trying to haggle down your lowest dealer. Other than that, all I can suggest is going SOA, but you can only save there by doing the work yourself (and often it is a LOT of work.)
Cheers,

soa is a dream but right now its saggy and needs help. one broken leaf currently. Bought some 2" lift sprigns but when i pulled the pack apart to inspect it had a broken one as well. Fed up and just want something that will work now and down the road if it goes spring over. 36's in my garage need to go on something

If it is just temporary and you will be going SOA in the near future, maybe just pull your packs apart, replace the broken spring and add an add-a-leaf. Just added a few on my SOA wagon, cause they seem to flatten out fast when sprung over. Will be a rough ride for a bit, but won't be that bad on a 60 series.

well temporarily spring under but i would like to reuse whatever spring packs in a soa configuration. The rear replacement set i bought used is the 2" bds lift spring. I could pickup the 2" fronts as well but not sure if they would last in a soa configuration and i should just bite the bullet and get something new. What are you runnign for leafs in your wagon Deny? looks good by the way.

I am not sure what springs are in there, maybe Dan can chime in if he knows, but they appeared to be stock and I think had one add-a-leaf when I first got it over a year ago. Before I started wheeling it I put in one more add-a-leaf in the rear. Over a long wheeling season, it seemed to drop quite a bit and the front was almost flat.

So this winter I put in a few extra leafs in the back and I just got my fronts back with 3 extra leafs added. (I wanted one long and 2 short, but they put in 3 long ones) I pulled the old add-a-leaf because it looked way too big and arched, so I will install it like this and see how it is. Was going to put 1in longer shackle in the front but think I will go with stock for now untill it sags down again otherwise it might be too big up front ( got 2in longer shackles in the back). Hopefully won't be too stiff, but right now I have 9 leafs up front and 10 out back. will see how things go.
Cheers,
Deny
