I'm looking at 2004 2-owner, southern LX with 129K (black). Timing belt at 92K, good shape, zero rust, excellent service history. The owner has AHC fluid to do himself which tells me he understands the LX maintenance.

What should I expect to pay for something like this? Still trying to educate myself on values.

Let me know if you need any additional info.

Hmmm yeah that's a judgement call. If you give me the seller's phone number I could personally go out there and check it out for ya! ;)

Yeah I can't speak to the price because seems like people outside of NY pay a fortune for these rust piles, but I'd say 15k isn't unreasonable

129k miles for a socal LX would be between $16-20k give or take. Of course a lot of variables play into those numbers.

What are they asking for it? A 2004 w/ 129k on it could be a great deal. It is low miles, but how well has it been maintained? Just because it’s a southern truck doesn’t mean it’s been taken care of. When I bought my ‘99, I searched for probably 6 months till I found a mechanically great, cosmetically horrible (paint) for my budget. Now, my wife says “Why don’t you sell that thing and get a newer one.” So, by June, I’ll probably have an ‘03-‘05.

I’d say between 15.5/17.5k. How’s the rest of it look?
