I've got the torque wrench and will investigate further this weekend. Thank you guys for all of the ideas. I cannot wait until this is resolved...

's all around

We had a loose panhard on an 80 at Cruise Moab a couple years ago. We could get it to happen stopped and turning the wheels lock-to-lock.

The truck was RHD and the RH end was loose. At first it sounded like it was comming from the steering box.

And thanks once again Dan for fixing it! Also, the copper brake line washer is STILL doing it's job! :)

Still?

Nothing quite like temporary to get you home.....:hillbilly:

IT'S FIXED! I'm so freaking excited... and... MAD. Both control arms were three turns loose at the axle and the front bumper had two bolts that were hanging. Tightened them all up and took her for a test drive. Nothing. No more popping.

How many times must I get burned until I realize "If you want something done right, do it yourself." Moral of the story? Never trust the big chain off-road shop and their mohawk wearing, battery-pack torque wrench wielding "Expert Installer."
