I'm working on a Scout PS conversion right now and got a tilt column off a '74 Nova. That, coupled with a shaft off a '72 full size chevy looks like everything will line up (so far). I don't think you can go wrong with a mid-70's chevy car column, given they are simple, have the round metal cover and still have a classic look. PLUS, it was only $35 at the yard.
