Getting ready to order rock sliders, the girl is getting me them for Xmas.
Who's got some out there already?
My truck is an 07 Taco. I'm looking real hard at the demmello's. Has anyone got them on their truck and used them. I'm going to wheel this truck and I want something thats going to hold up.
I don't care if I mess up the stock bumpers, but I need to preserve my rockers until the truck is paid off.
Thanks in advance.

I've got the Demello bolt-ons. Very strong, very well-built, and they've saved my ass more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. Sliders are absolutely necessary to wheel a truck as long as ours.

Sliders

Thanks, I think I'm going with them too. Not having sliders is stopping me from doing any serious trails. Me and a buddy are planning on doing the miller jeep trail asap, but I have to have them sliders, we went a couple months ago in his f.j. and spent alot of time on his sliders.
I would've got the f.j. but I needed a truck for my dirtbike and hauling stuff around, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Thanks for your advice.
Do you have any pics of your truck?

Yea Bro

Yes I admit the F.j. is better, but you can't throw the dirt bikes in it and do 90 to go ride. The F'J. won't get sideways on a dry street or light em up from a stand still:doh:
That why it's great we got both.

& Shrockworks too (just for some more options - if it's not too late)

FWIW - I've been beating on my Demello sliders for about 3 years now, and I could not be happier with them. STRONG LIKE BULL!

Not any pics just of the sliders, but here's a couple 'wheelin pics where you can get a decent view of them.

The new FJ and the Tacoma are barely in the same ballpark. FJ has a better build for pure 4-wheelin, but the Tacoma offers a significant improvement for travel and storage while still being a pretty darn good off-road truck.

Nice truck

I know what you're saying, the fj is way better offroad, I just need a truck. Besides the light in ass issue with the tacoma it does pretty well offroad.
Thank for the pictures and input.
Where is that you are wheeling?

Sliders

Nice. Looks like alot of fun and thats a nice looking truck.
What did you do for lift?
That front bumper is really nice, I know I'll have to get me one sometime in the near future because the stock one isn't going to last too long.

Shrockworks makes great bolt-on sliders for our trucks, as does CBI off road and Bentup. Stubbs welding is another good option, but no bolt-ons available. There are others, but those are some of the most widely used.

Take a look at all their sites, and make your decision from there. The prices are pretty similar for the bolt-ons, and you can save some $$ going with weld-ons (but you need to be able to weld, or pay someone to install them).

Thanks.
I think I'm going with the demellos, $600 is alot but they're powder coated and ready to bolt up.
I went and did a little half-assed wheeling today after seeing your pictures made me jones to get in the dirt. We don't have much in this county anymore, but it was still fun.

How Much Did They Run You And Have You Got Em Up Any Rocks Yet?
Nice Truck.

I paid around 500 bucks shipped for bare metal. $15 in prep and paint supplies and they look great.

No good pics yet. I took a bunch of paint off them the last time I was out, but it was raining so no pics from that day.

Hopefully this weekend I'll get some good ones.

Thanks Guy's.
I Was Set On Demellos But They Come Out Top $750 Or Something With Shipping.
Now I'm Thinking About Getting Something Different And Your Input Is Valuable.
Thank You
