All -
So my next appointment with my Orthopedic Surgeon is on April the 8th and I have been working my ass off in physical therapy...all with the high hopes that I will get clearance to start the transition to crutches...and more importantly...get the clearance to drive!
So, please keep my continued pain-free and complication-free recovery in your prayers and thoughts (if you don't pray); I truly believe I have been blessed with a pain-free and complication-free recovery because of all the prayers and thoughts from family and friends. Thanks to God for small miracles!
Now on to the good stuff...since I am planning on a "celebration" off-road trip...Cruise Moab, Razorback Rumble...errr...I mean Ramble, etc. I have been hard at work getting the truck ready for the next adventure.
Well, more so I have been picking stuff up left and right.
My IPOR bumper with dual swing-outs came in today. I picked up an ARB fridge/freezer (new and in the box) from the "classified" section of ih8mud.com and I am in the process of procuring new tires and an extra set of OEM rims (there could be beadlocked OEM wheels in the near future). Some of the Memphis guys and my non-mud friends are going to help me install the bumper and some of the misc. items soon....so, all we need now is a good doctor's appointment on the 8th.
I will be chilling water and soda in the fridge on the next adventure...as the last thing I need to do is get a little tipsy on my crutches and end up back in the hospital.
The new ARB fridge/freezer:
I don't have any pictures of the rear bumper yet...as it is temporarily stored at my friends shop until the install.
Cheers everyone and I am looking forward to the next adventure...and of course getting out of this wheelchair:
Cheers.
