Newbie here, intro's later

Getting my first LC 80 2/16/07

Have to take my 4Runner and tow dollie by my self to get.

200 mi, O Trip, will be towing 4R, A.T on return trip.

Question is should I,

Disconnect my 4R's A.T's drive shaft.

Does it have to remain running in order to tow back with drive shaft still conected and in neutral?

My thoughts are to keep it running in neutral for the return trip, realisticly being towed 70-80 miles it shouldent use enough gas idling vs. labor d.c'ing then connecting shaft.

Any thoughts?

PS want to see a joke? See 80 sieries tech for same question.

Yer a troll. If you don't have anything to add, and you obviously don't, keep your uninformed thoughts to yourself:flipoff2:

Definatly disconect the drive shaft should be both a 14 mil bolt and nut. so two open end wrenches will do it socket wrench wont fit well on pinion and t-case side of the u-joints

Ive towed my truck around town on a dolly for short stints with the truck off and just in netural with the d-shaft connected but this was stuff under 35 mph.

Anything on the highway take out that shaft!

Doesnt take more'n five minuets.

THX, just lazy, don't think it will use 1 gallon of gas.

I'll pay you a dollar to DC and another dollar to reconnect. Haha, bla, bla.

Will DC the DS

One guy thinks it got a viscus coupler and one guy thinks I'm a troll.

Can't we all just get along?

$12 per hour?

I think the going rate on cruiser work is more like $75/hour at any dealership. I dont have my asc cert so how bout we make it an even $60/hour.

at those rates itll cost you a whole $10.

only catch is you gotta W8 for me to get there from boston. :flipoff2:

Damn, and I can't write.

Can Ya'll read? ROTFALMAO

PLEASE, REread the whole question. LOL

Usually I can read fine but I seem to have stumbled upon some weird quazi literate form of the english language in your posts.

"Roll On The Floor something my something something..."
