Gearing Ratio Question

Does anyone know if the newer 79 Series gears (3.90 to 1) are compatible with 79 Series axles produced in 04-05?

I would say yes as long as they are 32 splines rear axles ..

and IIRC the issue it's the rear one, the front are all the same ..

Thanks .... The new gears are a tad pricey and I didn't want to end up with a pair of expensive paper weights.
