Zebrabeefj40 - to answer your question...BGE makes their own lump charcoal, but equally as good can be found at wal-mart, and many big chain grocery stores. Cowboy brand charcoal is another brand to look for. It all runs about $1/lb on average.

the BGE hardwood charcoal is pretty good too.
