Gas Cans

I'm ordering in a couple of gas cans they're the scepter plastic ones that are the same shape as the military ones

5.3Gal = ~20L
I can get, Yellow, Red, Blue

Yellow is: Part# 03711 $10
Red is Part # 03609 $10
Blue is #04933 $12

I may be mistaken, but those cheapies may leak when you climb in elevation and then the dirt sticks to the diesel around the filler spout, risking dirt in your fuel.

They're pretty decent... I've had a couple for a long time now... and they seem to do pretty good bouncing around my truck hanging upside down and what not...

I haven't taken them to high elevation though... Mt washington's about the highest I've been in ages...

Where do they leak from? Around the cap or breather I assume? Any container (especially plastic) will suffer from altitude change if they don't have a regulator on them..

Nato Fuel Containers

I have two of the military 20 litre gerry cans, I have off my spare fuel carrier. Dave Surplus has them in New Westminister. They are tough as hell and worth it..Even grinding sparks that mark glass don't mark that plastic. They will always hold their resale value..
