Hell, I went back to camp one afternoon while we were at K2 with the intention of checking one of my center pins and the beer cooler was calling me. Never went back out! Did check the function of the cooler lid a few times though!

Update!

Built the rack to fit the '74 sheetmetal style tire carrier, then added some angle to the '77 tube carrier to allow it to bolt up there too.

Still need to work on mounting the CB antenna, strap tabs, and a rear flood light. A thick locking cable thru the handles will be the extent of the security. I think I've decided to put the Hi-Lift on the running board.

Notice the floor of the carrier. It has stampings that line up perfectly with the concave base of each can. It came from the base of a pre '74 FJ40 long jump seat with a rusted frame I bought on ebay a couple years ago.

My spotting went from technical to " just go straight "...

I'm being completely honest here when I say that once you start riding dirty, it's extremely hard to go back and spot stock rigs that want zero damage. I know alot that can't do it and I KNOW I can't anymore.
