yes, I think I've shut that off. There's a setting somewhere to turn the nanny crap off so you've got control of things whilst moving
Where?! I use a Tread in my side by side... would like to kill off the nanny notices. ThanksThere's a setting somewhere to turn the nanny crap off so you've got control of things whilst moving

What actions are you doing specifically when you have the slow performance? I haven’t had any slowness while on the road yet or at home loading maps etc but admittedly I’ve only got a few hours of use logged so far.Noticed my tread operating very slowly- it’s pretty awful latency- anyone else experiencing this?
Hey, I just had this happen and the resolution was to forget the blue tooth connection on both devices and then re-establish it. This worked for me.Tread worked great at Cruise Moab in April. Getting ready for COTR in Silverton and I added all of the San Juan trails gpx files to the Garmin Explore website, and I can see them in the iphone Tread app but they do not sync to the Trad Overland. When I did the same thing for CM it all worked great and the sync to the Tread Overland was automatic.
Ive verified that the BT connection between my phone and the Tread is good as both devices show they are connected to the other but when I go to the Route Builder screen on the Tread, it has a message on the top that says "connect to the Garmin Tread App". I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that. I'm about to call or IM Garmin tech support. From googling, it seems that some others have had a similar issue where the Tread stopped syncing.
Thanks, I tried that last night. I'll try again.Hey, I just had this happen and the resolution was to forget the blue tooth connection on both devices and then re-establish it. This worked for me.

Tried again and no joy. Here is my Route Builder screen and the message up top. Thanks, I tried that last night. I'll try again.
My BT stuff all seems to work pretty well. Occasionally I need to repair devices. Currently the only time I have BT issues is when I've connected my phone to a boat load of devices. When overlanding my phone is set up as a wifi hotspot so my Tesla style HU has wifi, it is also BT connected to the HU so I have music, and then it BT'd to my Eco flow batteries, fridge and alt charger. Plus my Apple Watch. That is 6 BT devices. Sometimes one or more of the Ecoflow devices stops communicating. Not sure why. Its usually the alt charger that won't connect. Is it just me, or modern Bluetooth F-ing terrible? I stopped connecting phones to vehicles because of stupid connection errors. I swear 10 years ago it was almost bulletproof.
I have issues with my garmin watch and the Tread randomly disconnecting from my phone. I've been blaming it on a 4 year old phone.
I forgot I also have the tread connected to my Tread so that’s another connection. What two BT connections does the Tread have? Isn’t it just one to your phone?I noticed my Tread Overland didn’t like having two bluetooth connections to two different devices with the Tread app which is unfortunate. Just use the phone now so I get the weather etc
