Hi All, we will be hosting the Annual Christmas party this year at our place.

Time:January 19, at 6:30pm (by popular demad)
Parking: There is plenty or room on the street and also in the circle ( just before our house)
We will be providing some non-alcoholic beverages :cheers: and will need everyone to bring some sort of covered dish or desert (Please add list below) and your favorite beverage.

I will make some white chili and some salsa

could be tough for me this year, have the family Xmas thing going on the 8th. I'll do what I can but no promises.
 
Christmas Party Date RESCHEDULE

Folks,

Due to some unforeseen family issue and some feedback related to a timely posting of the Christmas Party date , and competition for other holiday parties we are going to push the the date into early January.

I know this may break with tradition, but our goal is to have good attendance and a good time.

We are looking at either January 12 or January 19. I need some feedback to a preference.:)
 
Miranda and I vote for the 19th....we will be out of town the 12th...
 
I'm thinking of coming to town the weekend of the 19th anyway as that's a Federal holiday for MLK. 3 day weekend for me. :cheers:

Andrew, maybe post up a poll once you have a few solid dates to choose from?

Edit: I'm only coming if Dennis brings more chili. :hillbilly:

Update on some of the "feedback" that was told at the meeting....I talked to John and he found out that the Boat Show is in fact the weekend of the 12th and NOT the 19th, so he was fine with the original date. Just FYI


AND it seems that everyone who has posted on here is good for the 19th, so lets just keep it the same IF we can...
 
I likely won't make the 12th if it stays there. I will (hopefully) have been wheeling the previous weekend - last one for a while :( - and plan to come to town the following holiday weekend already (19th). So three long drives in a row may not happen. :meh:
 
OK, this is the last reschedule. It will be on the 19th based on everyones feedback.....

Sounds sweet. I'll see if I can make it, probably be home from college that weekend seeing it's a holiday weekend. Lol please no more burnt chili, but you can always give it to Brian if you douse it with mustard ;)
 
So what's the food list lookin like? Gonna just be snacks or will there be some entrees too? Doesn't matter to me really , just curious. There's only one thing I really do well and that's my home made cheese dip.

I read in the events thread that there might be wheeling at Ralphs. Is that gonna be Saturday or Sunday if it happens? Cause I can't do Saturday; I could do Sunday or Monday (dependant on if the crawler is back up to snuff and comes with me).

Wheeling is planned for Saturday, but if we could get permission to wheel Sunday or Monday, i would be down since Monday is a holiday...
 
I'll decide this weekend if the Gecko is gonna be making the trip or not. If I can't figure out this small issue, I'm just gonna go ahead and begin the teardown for this two month build before Katemcy. I'm gonna need all the time I can get!
