"Guests are allowed by invitation"

How do I get approval to invite a friend with his wife & child (passengers only)? Maybe even just for the afternoon since their son is very little.

Josh and I just had a conference call about it, an official vote by the board and amended the by laws. Jason even reviewed the liabilities and spouted off some legal jargon about the potential issues of guests. Short answer...bring'em!

Re schedule, looking like there's a few of us that'll be up there about 3:00 pending any work issues.

"Bring it." See you Friday before 4:00. Me and Brooks.
SCC'ers unite! By the way, I'm jealous you got to run Vertical Challenge; that and Impossible were two that I wanted to try again (was alone last time) but I never got in any groups that went. Oh well, someday. Should see ya this weekend I hope.

Communications network

Hey Guys,
unless otherwise stated, lets plan on using the regular CB channels, (12, 8, & 4) starting with channel 12. If one is crowded, then we move down the list.

FOr anyone with a ham radio, lets start with MHz (tone)
147.150 + 141.3 Sawnee Mt (2000')
146.805 + 100.0 Mt Olglethorpe (3300')
146.835 + 100.0 Dahlonega (137890 )

Unfortunately there's a good chance I won't make it now. Picked up about 150 gallons of fuel (bio & diesel) over the last few weeks and last night my pump died so I can't get any of it into the truck. If I can't get off work early enough to find a way to pump it in the tanks, I can't afford to fill it with 100% diesel and I won't be able to hit the road with adequate drive time.

There are ways I could get it done, but none of them will matter if I can't get out of work around lunchtime so I can transfer the 150+/- gallons and get on the road by 5pm. It usually ends up being a 12 hour drive for me.

I'm still hoping I can "pull a rabbit from the hat" and make something work out.

Still stuck at the house!!! See yas tommorow...

Fuel is flowing into the tanks! Now I just gotta wait to see how fast I can get it all in. If I can hit the road within 2 hours I just might still make it.

Update: fuel is in, truck is running... clothes and some food and I think I'll be on the road. Y'all may just get to see me yet. :D

Cool. There's actually quite a crowd tonight

Well I'm certainly not going to be there tonight. Hopefully I'll be there first thing in the morning.
