FZJ80 Steering gear box conversion

Good morning fellow pigsters,

I am in process of upgrading to a FZJ80 steering gearbox and am searching for the correct parys to mate the steering gearbox to the FJ55 steering rag joint.

Does your current shaft have a slip joint and 2 u-joints like a mini driveshaft? On my 70 FJ55 I simply sleeved/extended the shaft. The splined connection at the steering box was the same between the stock box I removed and FJ62 PS box I installed.

I got rid of the rag joint. Two joints and a collapsing shaft. The collapsible shaft I heard is safer and certainly easier to assemble.
