Just a shout out to @Fourrunner for taking my request and for agreeing to fabricate some of his heavy duty battery cables for my FZJ70 and FZJ75LP projects. I removed the stock cables and sent them to Mark. A short time later, I received my new prototype kit and everything included in the new was the perfect fit. First of all, very high quality, complete ( 5 cables for these) kit and a huge upgrade for both trucks and would highly recommend these kits.
After doing both trucks, with a span of time in between, I would suggest a few things to make the job easier; the day before, locate all the areas of grounding cables, type and orientation of the battery terminals, spray some rust penetrating lubricant on all the bolts holding the ground cables, make sure you don’t need a new battery tray, and wire clamps , and fusible link…..I would recommend taking OG the exhaust manifold heat shield to make visibility better to remove and install the negative battery cable to the engine block ground.
Will try to upload some photos in the next post.
