make sure it's the way it's supposed to be.
i was working on a set of custome sliders today for a 40.
slightly weird angles to cut, thought i had everything right.
got one side mocked up and measured...welded it up, no problem
measured up the other side, should be a mirror image of the first side right?
but i did'nt check for them to be the same
welded it all up, put them side by side
i can't stand it when i do that.
reversed an outrigger, some how i screwed it up.
SO, the moral of my mistake is:
tack you project up before commiting to final welding.make sure that if you're cutting mirrored parts, that they ARE in fact mirrored parts.
