Lost my power to cig.lighter clock stereo door chime/ fuse box fine ! fuseable link possible? which one ?Diagrams not real clear, is it going to be closer to the firewall or the one sitting on the wheel well or neither !Part #or size ?I'll recheck the small fuses first (change it out even though it looked good)Why didn't the small fuse go before the other?

The fusible links are right off the + battery terminal. I don't recall how many there are for the FJ62, probably two or three; 1 for sure.

Blowing a fusible link can indicate a bad short in the 12 volt buss system or a kinked/corroded fuse link.

The reason for the short was caused by a stereo amp or my stupidity!There appears to be 4 fuseable 2 right off the battery 1 on the wheel well another just before the firewall.all oem,is maybe another under dash or elsewhere other than fuse box?

First thing to do is stick a meter inside the fuse tray itself to make sure that the short is past the firewall. If you read zilch your probobly gonna be griting your teath with those fuseable links, but I had the exact symptoms in my mini truck and it truned out that the wire jacket had worn out and the cig. lighter wire was shorting out with a radio wire.
So check that its not somehing simple like the aformentioned problem.
