Trying to find a good home for my old friend The Bandito.
The Good:
He's a retired old bank robbing hooligan that as of recent would rather just go to the beach or drive around some mountainous terrain.
He may steal money from you (heck, he's stolen a good $19-$20k ++ from me so far), coughs a bit (time for carb tune) and need some general tlc from time to time but you'd be hard pressed to find a friend with better bones and a tougher look. (Custom Box Steel Center Spine and Roll Bar, Front and Rear Tube Bumpers).
He's had pretty much every thing but his hips replaced(4x4 is perfect) so no need to worry about fixing the old fellah....ha, I kid but you won't need to get expensive organ transplants due to him being old. (New= Wiring harness, Switches, Radiator, Carb, Lights, Fuel System-Tank to Pump, Rear Tub, the list is endless).
He has nice new Boots and a Spiffy Jacket (Brand New 31" Falken AT Tires($1k), 4 Wheel TRD Disk Brakes($3k)!!, Best Top black"soft top"($1k)).
Also a custom Saddle (Lockable Storage Box in lieu of a useless tailgate).
The Bad:
He's an alcoholic (8 to the gallon due to a very thirsty Chevy Small Block)
His butt is flat (2 old seats and seat belts that need to be replaced though I have Brand New Mil Spec Seat belts, all yours)
He Farts from time to time( Hole/s in exhaust)
The Ugly:
Though you can totally hit the town all day every day , dude is totally a work in progress.(Wiring to non essentials needs to be finished, Wiper needs to be re-mounted, Paint, I love it but....pretty much head to tow bullet proof Kevlar spray on, tough as nails and textured semi flat black).
At the end of the day, if you're looking for the perfect FJ then you better have about $11k more than I'm asking. However, if you want something to have fun in that will take a beating and keep rolling while keeping you safe, The Bandito is your man.
Yes, runs and drives(very well) like a very scary rat-rod(too fast).
I'm open to offers as long as they are fair and my buddy the Bandit gets the right home.
Real story: My wife and I just had our first so my project must be taken over by someone ready to take advantage of all the work that's been put in. Losing money on this is a given but I'm in no rush to sell so no crazy low ball offers please. Also, Please don't call after 8p or I'll let the baby answer the phone!!! Extra un-installed parts thrown in with the deal: New Seat Belts that lock when angle changes, Water Proof Stereo, Amp and Speakers. Fluids, Oil etc.
