Well, there's something more than that going on, because the cluster from my 65 is the same as the cluster from my 71 and the same as the cluster from the 72, as far as the "Oil/fuel/temp/amp" pattern. But, as I said, the gauge that came with the 65 rises toward "F" when the gas tank is filled, and the gauge from the 72 moves to "E" when it is full, moves to "F" when it is empty. :eek: :eek: :eek:


could you use some white out or similar and make the "E" an "F". and use a small piece of tape over the bottom of the "E". just trying to help
 
Yeeeaaaaahhhh, thought about that.

Gonna try a few other of the suggestions, first. Cleaned up the contacts today. At least, so far, it doesn't seem to be cutting out. I'll see where it goes when I do a fillup.
