I’m suddenly having an issue with my 2014 LC where the truck cranks but won’t start.

A month or so ago, I posted a thread where I had the 4lo error and the truck running rough, but thanks to the advice of the folks here, that seems to have been resolved by a combination of all new sensors, charcoal canister and fuel pump.

But with this sudden cranking issue, my mechanic says it’s a bad fuel pump relay. So we got a new relay, but can’t find the location where it should be (!). Some info says it’s in the main fuse box on the drivers side inside the engine bay, other info says passenger side… some even said it was behind the plastic trim on the drivers side rear quarter panel.

This may be a good candidate for Stupid Question of the Day. Actually, I HOPE it is, meaning I hope it’s that easy. Because if I can’t find the location of this thing, I’m going to have to have my truck towed to a dealership two hours away 👎. The joys of living in a rural area where no one knows what a 200 is…

There isn't a specific "fuel pump relay" for your 2014 LC. There is a main EFI relay ("EFI No. 2 Relay") but that switches power to the fuel pump ECU which is on top of the frame rail roughly beneath the driver's side rear door.

You can easily test this relay.. my guess is the relay is fine and your issue is actually the fuel pump ECU. A handful of people on here have had to replace theirs. Corrosion often seems to be a contributing factor, FYI.
