hello, I have a 85 4runner , the fuel damper is leaking from the bottom where a screw looks like it fell out , I havnt taken it out yet . so I went to kragan auto and bought a new one , and when I opened it up , it doesnt have a screw on the bottom and it looks like it was just drilled out , is this going to work ? or is this the wrong one . I havnt looked in the original one thats on there to see if there is something else like a diaphragm or something . thanks

What the aftermarket one looks like could be completely different from OEM.... If you feel like it, you can post up some pics, but you may just have to put it in and trust that the parts guys got it right...

Usually a damper fails by leaking, any other symptom would be a driveability issue I would imagine...
