Find yourself an f1.5 and dump the 2f...... Better compression and bump timing and you will be pulling 17/18 all day. 2f is a gas whore! Will suck u dry!
I get 17 in my fully smogged 82 2f. I don't think your are correct about the 2f.

I am quite sure an FJ40 would get at least 15mpg coasting downhill with the engine off
