Reading this I must confess I'm amazed at the figures I read here.
I have a '90 4R, 4.88 on 33's, lots of extra's and a 2JZ-GE swap, turbo, intercooler, headers etc. About 300-350 hp. I drive it hard and fast, make lots of sprints and still average at 16.5 mpg.
That's about the exact same number the 3VZ-E had in it's stock form when I bought the 4R.
How do you guys get these bad numbers with a 100 hp engine? Just because of the carb?
