Quick question as I've never been to KRRP before. But I'm aware it's slightly smaller (240 acres) than tuttle (310 acres). How will 80 rigs (so far) effect trail time? Just because that many rigs at tuttle really crowds it. Is it bigger than last year yet? Thanks.

the last 2 years we had over 150 rigs there and was no prob. at all
the park has green, blue and black trails !!
most of the time the stock rigs will stay on the green
mild rigs run the blue/black and the built rigs play in about 4 or 5 spots
it really has worked out good in the past

did you think the park would be full with 80 rigs ??
well we have over 170 rigs all ready signed up :)
so it looks like there will be 2 rigs from TAC there with me ??
wow i was hoping for a better showing

Jus lettin ya know we ain't goin. I think it'll be too muddy. Guess I'm gettin ta be a fair weather fourwheeler.

Waiting for my new clutch kit or I'd be there!!!!

I'm out, too. Driveshafts aren't finished, plus it looks like a chance of snow or sleet tomorrow. Not really interested in towing in those conditions.

Been there, done that!

The long trip home

The trip out there wasn't bad, foggy with a little snow. While wheeling in the afternoon it began sleeting, at first I thought it was ice falling from the trees (wishful thinking). While airing up, the sleet continued, but the roads were fine, until we got a few more miles west.

Seemed like all of the sudden the roads were covered and there was heavy snowfall. Of course there were no plows out. The drive home just took much longer, but we made it back fine, and very tired.

I didn't get many pictures, but I'll post some later. Hopefully Jeremy can post some also. The trails were either mud or frozen as they had more snow earlier in the week. But that didn't stop an unlocked 80 on mild ATs from making it through some medium/int. trails with no body damage. :D

I have to give Duane and the KS Rocks group credit for putting an event together to get everyone out of the house and on the trail in Feb.

Other than an overall lack of organization for the event (lack of guides, 150+ vehicles, etc.) the park isn't bad at all. There are some tight spots on the trails we were on but nothing that couldn't be negotiated. I will definitely go back and hopefully run some of the black trails another time.

Glad ya had fun. Almost wish I woulda went... I went over to Greenwood County checkin cattle today. It was a muddy mess there.
I am thinkin about goin Mar. 15th I think it is, it is a benifit trail ride. Tossin round the idea bout goin there an then to the cruiser deal down ta Disney the foloin weekend.
And then April 16th is the clean-up day.

thanks
there was 226 rigs there
thats a lot of rigs to get together on a guided trail ride
so for the most part it was a free forall

i did get to see rob and lance there but that was all that came around
hope youall had a great time

Yes had a great time at the event. I especially want to say thnx to everyone that was in our group for the knowledge and guidance on the trails. Can't wait for the next run, the wife is already bugging me for her own rig, we found a 90 4runner, already chopped, v8, caged, and lifted for $2400 she really likes. We are going to go check it out next weekend.

Also thnx for taking all the baby trails for the little unlocked lx , I will try to get some pics up here in the next couple days, took over 60 pics, thats alot to sort through, unless someone has a way for me to just link them and let everyone just search through them all???

Lemme know, and thnx again for the great time.
Jeremy
