The nets on the back of my seats have all but disintergrated. is there an easy way to replace these? is this a dealer item that can be purchased seperately from the seats. Anybody ever change em?

Thats great! thanks! sounds like just what i need. i'll post back what i find..

I did this back in 2004 with my '99. I bought two replacement nets from my local dealer for something under $20 total. Replacement was pretty easy, as I recall, after I got the seat back off. There are clips that hold it on. I remember having to play around with the seat back for a while before I figured it out. Look under the bottom with a flashlight and you should be able to see the clips. The net is attached to the seat back by a plastic screw or pin that pushes through a hole in the seat back and into a metal lock nut/washer. I can't recall if those components came with the nets, but the dealer should be able to tell you that. Good luck.

seat backs pop off from the top. there are plastic clips that hook over the seat coil frame at the top. dont lose or break the clips if you can help it, they are $7 each.

Cool! thanks for the tips.. I'm going to drop in to my local Toyota dealer and pick these items up to install this weekend. It's AMAZING how nicely these Hundys clean up with new mats, nets, etc., etc., Amazing I love it! :)

Anyone have the part number for the nets? I need two. Thank you.
Which truck & color?

Looks like parts are becoming limited. They are only showing gray.

This is the 99 in gray.

They give the same number for both sides....

Looks like Fred Anderson also has the "pockets" for the 2004 in ivory & stone.

Shockingly cheap....

I need tan for the 1999. The ivory first 10 digits are the same as the stone first 10 digits. I wonder if ivory would work on the 1999. It appears to be the same as the 2004. If wrong, I could always install in the 04 because it needs seat backs too. I will order the ivory.

I think you’ll get pockets if you order the 2004 pieces, not nets. Question then is attachment the same? Guess you’ll be the Guinea pig....

It is all net for the 100 LC.

Cool. Find it interesting that the Toyota parts catalog calls them nets on page for 99 and pockets on page for 2004.

Post up pictures when you get them.

Here are the results. The removal requires pushing in at the top corners then moving the seat back up. I broke 3 of 4 clips before figuring this out. One of the best $20 spent to refresh the rear nets.

Install requires cutting the little plastic posts off and reusing the metal rings to secure the new posts. I used a small box end wrench and a hammer to tap the metal rings in place. Takes about 30 minutes total.
