Purchased these recently from Front Runner Outfitters and am looking forward to using them next weekend. Just have to find somewhere to go w/ the shut down.

Yup - but the home computer died and had to send it in for repairs - :bang:. So these are the only pics (cell phone) of our trip - down by the Swell and in the drive way.

Thanks for the advice on the propane gas tank holder - worked like a charm. It held the tank firm - no problems off road at all. Plus, it is very easy to remove the tank from the rack and put back on. 2 to 3 minute max.

And the :princess: loved the utensils! Very sharp, well constructed, and a nice pouch. Perfect for our small family. Funny - she even wanted to keep the plastic sleeves (go figure!).

Great kit for the trip and looking forward to a few other Front Runner purchases.

It's good to hear you had a good trip and enjoyed the products. Pic looks great actually. Who really needs a camera nowadays. Have fun out there and let me know if you need anything else.

Hi, what was the advice on securing the tank? I've always used a milk crate as I fear a random branch dragging across the valve/tank.

Actually, I was planning on doing the same thing (milk crate), until I came across the propane tank holder.

Obviously more expensive than a crate, and at first had a hard time fitting the holder on a tank, so was thinking about using a crate.

In talking to Steve, you have to take the holder apart, place it over the tank, and then tighten it up. This means the holder stays attached to the top part of the tank.

Not a big deal, but when I purchased the holder, I thought it would easily slide over the bracket on most tanks.

In South Africa the collars on the tanks are hugely smaller than the tanks here in the us. If you have a SA propane tank it works perfectly, however, who in the US has a SA tank... we are working on them creating a larger collar for the US market to alleviate this problem.....

I just ordered a front runner propane tank holder myself for my 99 100 series and was curious to see how it would look height wise relative to the rack and truck. Thanks for sharing!
