I decided I wanted to do something a little different and settled on a custom bench seat from PRP. I really wanted a bench seat for up front and decided to go a different path than most. After calling and talking to PRP I decided to go with one of their RZR rear bench seats - the GT SE. It had the look and was the dimensions (52" wide) I was looking for. Only negative is that the mounting was not what they told me on the phone but I was able to make it work. Overall I love it, its the look I wanted, colors I picked are just how I imagined it, and its pretty comfortable.

I made a custom seat mount and used a Bestop seat slider for a Jeep application - it looked beefy and the seat adjustment pull was easy to modify.

Seat slider modification - welded in some round stock to lengthen the pull mechanism. Works great!

That looks pretty cool. I sort of like the look for possibly for the back seat. It looks like they should fit in the back seat if desired. Maybe some similar single bucket seats in front and then these in the back. Just thinking out loud.
But good job it came out great.

Thanks - that was my first welding project in 10 years! It would make a pretty cool back seat mounted on the wheel wells - though it would be tall! I did play around with that idea and took some pics while I was working on the front mount.

Another shot...can't say enough how happy I am with this seat and upgrade! I absolutely love it. It looks great, if feels great, and I love that it is a one piece bench and the seating surface is flat all the way across. The size feels just perfect as well.
