Hi,
I been scrolling through the 1,400 pages of the repair manual trying to figure out how to remove the panels shown below, but no luck. Does the FSM actually explain how to take these panels off and where the bolts or fasteners are for each one? I’m specifically trying to remove these two panels in the photos.

1- REINFORCEMENT, RADIATOR MOUNTING, RH

2 - Right-Hand Front Fender Apron Insulator (splash/inner guard insulator or seal area) ( above the Tyre)

I would guess the headlight surround is welded in as part of the radiator support sub-assembly.
Zoom out a little on the parts diagram, the boxed items are a sub-assemvly.

The smaller pieces with part numbers may have been available as repair panels.

The boxed diagram shows you where bolts are required. Example, part 53205 is removable and it's bolted in place with (4) 91615-40814 bolts. The dashed line shows you where the bolts go.

As for the other part you highlight 53783A, parts list shows it as "non applicable" and there is no complete part number, so I would assume it is again a welded part of a sub assembly 53701 in that diagram.

The parts diagrams are somewhat generic and sometimes show exploded parts for different model variants along with parts for your model.

I'm not 100% certain of this, just how I would interpret the part diagram along with the applicable part numbers, and making a judgements based on my experience in tinkering with these trucks

There is a Body Shop Manual, but doesn't show the front engine bay. Just the cabin.

I assume you drill out the spot welds. It does say do not reuse the same spot weld locations. It has other advice as well.

I replaced the passenger side radiator support panel on my '96 earlier this year. There was a handful of spot welds to the upper radiator support arm and some along the bottom. Probably 10 spot welds in total. There are also some bolts. Not a difficult job and the replacement part is still available new from Mr. T.
My spot weld removal technique needs some work as i drilled through both parts of the metal on more than half of the welds. A copper bar helped fill in the holes I made but i made sure to choose new metal for the new welds.
