Ok, starting the rebuild of the front doors and going cross eyed trying to find the right stuff. Mechanically the doors are fine. What is needed is all the the bailey channel rubber , top of window seals and inner and outer seals. My doors do NOT have the 1/4 window/triangle window. If there is a kit out there that meets my needs, I would be happy to hear about it. Thanks in advance!

Best thing to do is start by looking up the part numbers and what everything is called. For instance at this
website you can plug in your year and market (kcja) and step through to the exploded door diagram. Get the
part numbers and just plug them into your favorite toyota dealer ordering system. The window channels which
is what I think you are asking for are mostly still available from toyota. Some other ancillary bits can be found by
part number at sor or cityracer or half a dozen other vendors here.

Also ... when you really get stumped....please post what year and other details you have for your 40 when asking questions. Wide variance in the parts you are asking about.

When asking for help year/model/market helps get a better answer sooner.
Places like $or often have good pic's and application data such as fits 7/72 - 8/74. Other places have better prices and watch out for shipping costs

Plus in 50 years people change stuff so it might not be what you think it is. For example my 7/72 FST came with 76 hardtop

Thanks for the info. My FJ 40 is a 1977 retro-mod with a Chevy 350,Turbo 350 transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering and a mini truck (GMC) tilt steering column. .

Your driveline mods have nothing to do with your doors. I run several sbc's with different drivelines behind them, when nessesary I'll refer to a fsm. They're always handy. I also have manuals for various trans, tcases and componets.
