front diff oil fill

ever wondered how to fill your front diff housing with gear oil with that pesky steering rod in the way. Well most of you probably have your own methods, but this is what I came up with. Scrap of garden hose and a fitting screwed onto the oil bottle.

That looks expensive.

Actually, the bucket pump isn't. About $40 at NAPA. Soooo worth it. Wait till you have to try to fill the trans and transfer with those silly bottles.

I think a lot of people see spending money differently. I'm an organic vegetable farmer so $40 is 40 bunches of kale I have to sale at market. I'm for sure gonna use what's around.
