My front axle leaks:mad: I am almost positive its time for a rebuild. The swivel joints are dry. the truck started to have a driveline vibe so i checked fluid and was able to out 2 full quarts into the truck. the noise is gone, but it is leaking from the back where the ujoint connects to the pumpkin. I also jacked up the trck and found slop in the passenger side wheel. The drivers side has no clunk or slop at all. Everything is covered in oil from my self lubricating motor. I plan to hit it with brake cleaner and see what i got going on. Hoping for a simple rebuild of the birfs and a clogged breather tube that is causing the axle to puke. I have a guy in town who is a toyota nut. Might be time to use his extra  skills.

Don't just randomly spray brake cleaner on everything under your truck. The stuff will eat certain plastics, remove paint finish, and may end up someplace you don't want it.

High pressure wash first, then use parts cleaner or engine degreaser.

Oh....and YES, Yes you are.
