Fri-- fly into jtown at midnight (currently sitting at ATL bar waiting on Mardis buddies to straighten out flight delays due to weather)
Sat-- wake up my little girl with a new stuffed animal, hang with my girls
Sun and mon-- repeat saturday.

I was, i think Nolen was joking, however 2 weeks away from my girls is a long time.

Glad your home. You got one of the best gigs going. My mom always told me not to go in NAVY but to go in the GUARD. My dad did 3 one year western pacific cruises during Vietnam and 5 med cruises. Being gone that much sucks.

I love my job. I have to go here and there every 6 months for a week or two but most jobs require some travel. (pay, benefits, etc make it well worthwhile)

Dad did 2 tours in Vietnam and was at Miramar and Virginia beach for his last 2 assignments before he got out. He and mom loved the travel, but they had no kids at the time.

go teach those boys to drive a stick so we have more cruiser junkies. (wife loved the pic of the kids in the back seat....you are helping my case for another one later on!)

Day alone with Red starting about 1:30....not sure what to do with all that time.

Funny. We never do this.

12:15 started with 2 Krilakis burgers. Unreal.

Then.......Fleet Feet, for my first new gym shoes in 8 years , Dillard's/lee Michaels for my first trip to Jackson's lovely Mall in 5 years, Target, Pet Smart now we are at Barnes Noble for coffee and books.

All in 3 hours.

Then....5 clothes stores, Ruth Chris (tuna and Ceasar at the bar) home by 7. Laid up in the pool for an hour.
