Free Fj40 Stuff

Anyone want some parts? Come and get them... here in San Diego, CA

I'm cleaning out my gargage and have some left over parts from a engine swap in a 1970's FJ40.

These parts are free if you can take them away. I'm not interesed in shipping them, even if you are willing to pay. I'd love for these items to find a good home. Anything that isn't claimed by the end of the week will be posted on San Diego's Craig's List, if no body there wants them, they go to the scrap yard. I do have photos and will post them here after work, or PM them to you when I get home.

Here is what I have. All parts are from a 1970 FJ-40 F engine

- Flywheel. It's in ok shape, no broken teeth, but well used.

- Clutch Pressure Plate. 3 finger type, it works, but is worn.

- 3 Speed Bell Housing. In good shape, just kinda dirty.

- Flywheel cover. Also in good shape, also dirty.

- Intake Manifold. surface looks ok, a nice orange rust color though.

- F Engine Head. The ok head from a blown engine. I'll even throw in a well ventilated oil pan. The head is still on the block, but if anyone does want it. I will pull it for you. You are welcome to any internals that survived this....

There ya go.. 1st come 1st served. I hope someone can use this stuff.

And if not, they'll be recycled and hopefully come bad as something people want

dang!! What happened? If you, per chance, have the piece that actuates the choke mechanism on the carburetor from the cable linkage, I'd be happy to trade green paper for said chunk of metal.

dang!! What happened?...

On the 1st drive out to the desert it thru a rod, 2 weeks after I bought it! Sad story, but does have a happy ending. I found a '69 F Engine in good shape for $300 locally and did a 1/2 assed frame up resto.


Unfortunately I used the donor motor's carb, I do have a GM Rochester carb that was on the old motor. I was going to sell once I cleaned it up, but no OEM carb parts.

I have the dual weber on an F, but want to switch w/ original aisin rounded model.... (that intake is for that right?) REMOVED BY TLC73. You still have it? Just let me know when to show up and I'll drive there.
