So, I've got a small update. I didn't get a picture of it earlier... The pallet of parts I have slowly gathered to put on as I have the time. 
The front axle from the 85. All the brackets are off, but after the fact I realized I should have left the spring perches on... I did it several months ago before I had really though through the axle rebuild. Oh well...
Luckily I had a few extra spring perches. The complete axle with ball and axle gussets from marlin crawler:
Also, the transfer case just after I got it out:
I am actually further along than this, just no pictures of it yet.
Hoping to get the dual transfer case and the rear axle done this weekend.

As a small update... I haven't had time to work on the truck for about 3 weeks. School has just taken up too much time. So that's the reason I've posted no updates. 
Ah real life... Anyhow, hopefully I'll be getting back on it this next weekend, and even more over Thanksgiving week. So, more pictures to come then!
