You are going to be SO much happier. Good score too. You can fix the hack to the inner fenders by usign a rubber mudflap from a semi. Get a couple, cut to fit and atttach with rivets or 1/4" bolts and washers. I did this on the void where the OE steering box went after removing it as part of the Saginaw conversion. One more word of advice. For the donut gaskets Felpro makes a sintered metal that will outlast the cheap ones 100X. Get them at Napa too.
