I get it that there are those of you that are put off by some character cutting up the body of an FJ55 and replacing it with old ford parts. I am not a purist, just a lover of the early cruisers who happens to have a pile of old ford sheet metal in good condition. Other than new parts for the whole brake system, I built this pickup for next to nothing. It still conquers the hills and logging roads and has the heart of a cruiser from bumper to bumper, windshield to transfer case. This is part 2 which I created yesterday. If you haven't seen part 1, watch it first. You won't see an FJ55 even remotely like this anywhere else.

Thanks guys! It was really fun to build and even more fun to bomb around the island in. My grandkids fight over who gets the first ride when they show up in the summer.
 
I'm not much on those old Ford's, but you took something you loved that was almost useless, and made it into something that gave it a new lease on life. Very cool!
