Fox rear shock separation?

How does this happen? This is the only picture I could get for now since I’m in work clothes. I noticed my rear was feeling off and saw this separation today.

I hear it happening a lot on long travel application with 2.5" shock bodies. Not sure if the shock body hits the side of the frame and snap the stud or something else.

I feel like it may have started leaking a few weeks ago. I hit some railroad tracks the other day it felt like it bottomed out.
