Update:

After talking with several different companies, including Accutune, I am going to send back the rear 2.0s to be revalved. Accutune has been great answering my questions and are willing to revalve the 2.0 for free (I pay shipping). If that doesn't work out, I will look again at the 2.5, but they are hopeful that by reducing he high-speed compression, I will be close to what I want. They also repeatedly told me that I was much pickier than their average customer... prob true, but that's why I don't drive a 4Runner. ;)
Any updates on the revalve?

i would ditch the Icon rear springs and go with OME 2721s. they are progressive and provide almost 2" of lift with the weights you say you are running in the truck.

I had to add air helpers to my Icons to keep them stable at speed. with a moderate camping load and a spare on the roof, it was sketchy as hell over 75.

No, nothing yet. I have been dragging my feet mostly, because I am on the fence about buying ICON 2.5s for the rear; installing those while waiting for the Fox 2.0s to be revalved (then keep whichever I liked more). The trouble is everyone I talk to seems to have a different opinion about how to improve the ride. Honestly, I am very close to buying the Icon 2.5 front & rear or BP-51s since both options are a matches set for our vehicles. I am told Fox are great and can be made to do whatever I want, but I don't know enough to prescribe exactly what I want done, from a revalve perspective. Sadly, no local shop seems interested enough to help me figure it out.

Changing springs is an interesting idea. The 2721s would be stiffer, correct? The front seems to keep composure most of the time. The rear tends to pogo or skip sharply on bumps and cracks a few times, followed by a slower, deeper dip and wabble, which then unweights and upsets the front, resulting in a bucking bronco effect. The first part of the cycle almost feels like the springs are too stiff, but then the second part seems like the springs are struggling to keep the back end under control. Does this sound like spring or shock? When I load up on trips with more rear weight, the first part of the cycle over sharp bumps is smoother, but the second part of slower dip is more pronounced. When I turn the shocks up to a higher number, the first part gets more pronounced. Down and the second part of the cycle increases.

Keep us posted. Its a big ask for any tuner to deliver a setup that another person is 100% happy with straight up .
Pity they're not closer to you, you could spend a day with them n get your setup dialled in . However The cost of new icons be similar to making the trip to accutune wouldn't it .

An update:

I recently had a failure of my Total Chaos UCAs. This was apparently due to a design flaw which has since been rectified by the manufacturer. The collar that holds the bolt cracked and allowed the bolt to pull through the ball joint (from the top to bottom). Luckily this happened at about 10mph, so it didn't damage my truck and it didn't damage the ball or the UCA. Total Chaos overnighted new bolts and collars which updates them to the latest design version. The defective design has the bolt head recessed into the ball. I was told by their rep that the head was recessed because some guys were jumping their cruisers and denting the sheet metal with the bolt head. The new collars are stronger because they don't recess the bolt head as far, so if it were to break it wont pull through. My 3rd party retailer said they had never heard of a Total Chaos UCA fail.

Since the truck was disabled (shipped to Slee Offroad on a flatbed), I took the opportunity to ask the experts how I should proceed. As one of the premier experts in LCs, Slee is obviously very knowledgable and both Cristo and Amory were very patient with my questions. This was the service I had been searching for for months, so I ended up opening my wallet and going with their recommendation of BP-51s and SPC UCAs. The BP-51 is widely known on this forum and the SPCs are a sealed and lower maintenance UCA, better suited for our Colorado winters. Definitely not as sexy as Fox, King or Total Chaos... but more known and somewhat proven, so I went for it. Also, in an effort to make lemonade from the lemons, I had them install an ARB front bumper. You know, since it was there... :)

I have only had the BP-51s for a couple days, but so far I would describe them as an improvement... but not mind-blowingly better. I need more time to make a qualified assessment. I probably could have saved a lot of money by further working through my perceived issues with the Fox components. However, I simply don't have the time, knowledge or patience to sort through it. For me, it was worth the money and convenience to engage the help of a known expert.

I have posted the Fox setup in classified section, so if anyone is interested in playing with them to suss out their true potential, they are available.

I have fox 2.5 dsc and 2720 rear springs. Pretty much perfect out of the box. Feels great on the road at any speed, and very impressive at high speeds off road. I've adjusted up and down but went back to the stock settings. No complaints.
