Well, if you didn't get a chance to run Fordyce this year, you may have lost your chance. Looks like the FS closed it and most of the surrounding areas due to "extreme" fire danger. The boys over on Pirate are seeing exactly what is going on and trying to figure out how long etc...

The rangers have told a few people that if we get some rain, they might re-open it. Of course the weenies may just use this as an excuse to keep it closed forever, let's hope that is not the case. I miss that trail alot.:crybaby::crybaby:

Bummer...I really wanted to do at least the first part someday with the hundy.
 
Sierra Trek has been cancelled. If they reschedule the event (or even when they hold it next year) I highly recommend that you guys sign up. Cal4Wheel essentially keeps this trail open, if there is no Fordyce Creek Trail.

Wow, that sucks, I wasn't sure if they were going to cancel ST or not, sounds like they did. Bummer.
