Still For Sale: 1972 FJ55 Placerville, Ca
Original condition, everything intact, not cut up or modified. Very clean in and out with newer paint. Previous owner put a 2F motor in with 75,000 miles on it, no leaks under hood or on the ground. 4-speed tranny on the floor. Runs great with no problems, drives straight with no wandering. Drum brakes rebuilt with new wheel cylinders and shoes by previous owner, new master cylinder. All lights work on exterior and interior, dash intact and guages work with exception of speedometer(bounces) and odometer. Both heaters work, glass intact and functional. Only rust I can see is to the passenger rear wheel-well area, approx 1x1 inch. I do not see any rust that has come through the body itself. 33x12.50x15 BFG mud terrains with 75%tread remaining, aluminum alcoa looking wheels. Warn 8000lb winch, custom front bumper, roof-rack, auxillary lights on front, Warn locking hubs. New exhaust, with header. WHAT IT NEEDS: Head liner is torn in a few places (have new one, but needs to be installed); speedometer cable; front bench seat needs reupholstering on drivers side; rear window motor/gear and lifting mechanism are missing, small dent to passenger front fender, windshield cracked on passenger side. Other than these things, it is a very clean and intact truck. No space or time to do what I want with it (newborn in family). $4600. Located outside of Placerville, Ca. (916)712-8804. i'm down here in so cal. that would be such a sweet ride home down the 101 fwy. yet, wifey is saying not right now....damn economy
