BTT.
Looking to know if this will work out good for my IPF light switch.
IPF's switch is a POS.

I have not hooked up my switch and harness yet. And it is in storage right now, so I can not pull it out to confirm, but if I remember correctly, the harness is not going to be long enough to reach aux lights on the front bumper. The harness was pretty short. So it would need to be spliced in. I got the harness because of the interface with the switch. You will pretty much have to splice with any pre-made harness you get. But, in opinion the switch and harness will work great for you.

Does anyone have a diagram to share giving directions to wire off road lights using the factory switch in a 100 as shown in the beginning. I have the full harness with the switch and wonder about proper connections. Using an aux fuse box for the lights and other extras. Probally are others that could use the info.

Sure would be helpful to have this information and would be appreciated.

Looked everywhere but there, thanks.

Found the FAQ regarding the factory fog light switch for aux lights but didn't see one about adding the new type switch as you did in yours.

When you said factory switch I thought you meant the one on the stalk. If you're adding lights using an OEM switch it will depend on what lights you're using and the harness they provided. The pin out to the OEM switch I used is in the first post. Just match that up to your harness.

very cool thread; wonder if anyone can grab the rear foglight button for me? :)

This might help some http://tlcfaq.com/main/2012/04/fact...to-control-air-lockers-and-compressor-part-1/

I'm using the FJ Cruiser aux lamp switch to trigger a compressor. Look down the page as I have a wire diagram with pin outs.

Sent from my iPad 2 using IH8MUD

Exactly what I needed. Many thanks.
