Finally purchased my 97 cruiser after watching two of my buddies buy and start work on theirs. It already had a lot of the upgrades that I wanted to do (arb front bumper, 3" old man emu lift, arb rear air locker, arb air compressor, fox 2.0 shocks, trident 8" LED lights, 4.88 gears front and rear, 17x8.5 method racing wheels, 35x12.50x17 Mickey Thompson baja claw radials). Still plenty of upgrades for me to tackle but I like having the head start on some of this. Rig has just over 194k.
Also came with a snorkel that will be installed soon. The booster did go right after bringing her home so that is the first project. Started the removal of the old booster today and will install the new one this week after it arrives. Went with the amazon cardone after seeing some positive review from here.
Overall looking forward to continuing the build and love the help from this site (did successfully reset my srs light following the procedure from these forums). More to follow!
