Fluid change - Toyota fluids or other recommendation?

I'm due for a fluid change (transmission, differentials, transfer case, power steering) on my 08 LX. Manual recommends Toyota Genuine ATF WS otherwise there may be shift quality issues or damage.

The shop is aware of the verbiage in the manual but recommends BG Ultra-Guard Full Synthetic over the factory fluid. Based on tests and in their experience (including personal cars) BG is superior over the factory fluid.

Any experiences? BG good to go? Or is it recommended to stick with Toyota fluids?

I have M1 in EVERYTHING but the transmission (and coolant). I would not use anything other than WS fluid for the transmission.

The Toyota proprietary coolant and WS fluid is extremely high quality.

WS is the only way to go on your 200 series transmission. I also have a done at the Lexus or Toyota dealership. Anybody with a lift can do the other fluids
